Our Programs

We at CKDC are committed to share the love, artistry and the discipline of dance. Being part of the CKDC Competition Team does just that! We are not only a team, but a family. Dancers who are a part of the competition team will experience the top dance education from our outstanding faculty while learning all the life lessons that are a part of growing as a dancer. The CKDC Competition Team participates in 3-4 regional competitions, 1 national competition as well as workshops and conventions throughout the year. Team dancers will also receive classes throughout the year from guest teachers as well as choreography from guest artists that travel to us from around the country.

Dancers who are both perspective and returning students must audition every year. There is an audition fee of $25 per dancer.

Students who participate in competition are required to participate in all the classes assigned for their team. Students are placed on each team after being evaluated by the Charlotte Klein Dance Centers Faculty.
